McSpadden dulcimers start at $525 and come in walnut, cherry, or maple. Scroll heads will add $25.00, spruce soundboards will add $11.00, and redwood soundboards will add $15.00. They come in hourglass (shown) or teardrop models. Also offered is micarta and ebony fretboards.

Snark Tuners
David's Dulcimers has discovered the Snark tuner! Wonderful clip-on tuners that pick up the vibrations easily and hold the needle steady for easy tuning. The SN-5 is the basic model and is $19.00. The SN-5 (red) model has a metronome and a switch that will allow your tuner to tune by picking up vibrations or use a microphone. $29.00 All are chromatic tuners that can be used on any chromatic instrument.
